Nossedil

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nossedil ( Lower Sorbian Nosydło ) is a desert in the southern Brandenburg district of Oberspreewald-Lausitz in the area of today's town of Großräschen in Niederlausitz and belongs to the district of Freienhufen (formerly: Dobristroh). The desert is included under the ground monument number 80063 in the list of monuments of the state of Brandenburg .

geography

The Nossedil desert is located along Drochower Straße in the immediate vicinity of the former Autobahn service station Freienhufen (today: Autobahnmeisterei, about 0.5 kilometers north of today's motorway service station Freienhufener Eck (West)) on the federal motorway 13 .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1266, when it was acquired by the Cistercian monastery Dobrilugk . Up to the year 1434 Nossedil was mentioned eight more times. In 1285 the place was mentioned as Nouzedel in an agreement with the pastor of Altdöbern , to whose parish the place belonged. The trigger was the building of a church in Dobirstroh (Freienhufen), which belonged to the same parish. In this agreement it was mentioned, among other things, that Nossedil is 12 hooves and Dobristroh is 14 hooves. In 1290 the place was named as Nozzedil when clarifying a border issue with the northern village of Saalhausen . This place belonged to the Senftenberg lordship, later the Senftenberg office . In this document, the lordship and owners of Senftenberg were named for the first time , who referred to themselves as von Senftenberg . In the Öder-Zimmermann map (around 1614–1634), “Ein Born bey der Alten Linde” is named exactly in the location, ie village linden tree and village fountain.

In the following years, however, the place was lost and in 1492 it was called "wüsten Mark" and "wusteney Nißzedyl". The Nossediler Flur fell on the northeastern Dobristroh. This explains the south-western tip of the Dobristroh district.
