Notorious is an American television series broadcast by American Broadcasting Company in 2016. During the broadcast, the original episode order was reduced from 13 episodes to 10, which at the time was already being canceled. This became official in May 2017. It was initially not broadcast in German, despite a dubbed version created by VSI Synchron GmbH, Berlin. A German-synchronized publication has been taking place on the RTL Passion pay station since December 6, 2018 .

Based on the lives of real-life defense attorney Mark Geragos and Larry King Live producer Wendy Walker, the show takes you through the lives of Julia George, a media mogul and producer of the cable news show Louise Herrick Live (LHL). When Oscar Keaton, the client of lawyer Jake Gregorian, is arrested, a complicated situation opens up, as Oscar's wife Sara, who previously had an affair with Jake, turns out to be the real perpetrator. When she also dies, the situation becomes more complicated for everyone involved.
