history
The Notre-Dame de Languivoa chapel was built in the 13th century by the lords of Lescoulouarn. A three-nave nave was added to the choir and transept-like side chapels from the 13th and 14th centuries. The choir and the side chapels have significant tracery windows in the style of Flamboyant Gothic . The aisles were changed in the 17th century. Following the revolt against the paper tax in 1675, the top of the bell tower was removed on the instructions of Louis XIV . At times there was a priory at the chapel. The prior's house still exists on the south side.
