The nature reserve Kiesgrube Am Buchenhof is located in the area of the city of Kerpen in the Rhein-Erft district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area extends southwest of the core town of Kerpen and east of Golzheim , a district of the Merzenich municipality in the Düren district . The B 264 runs to the north and east and the L 327 state road to the west. Not far to the west is the Seelrather Fließ.
meaning
A 4.45 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve for Kerpen since 1991 under the identification number BM-042. The protection is placed to preserve the communities and habitats of certain wild animal species.
