Parrig

The Parrig nature reserve is located in the city of Kerpen in the Rhein-Erft district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area extends northeast of the core city of Kerpen and west of Götzenkirchen , a district of Kerpen. The A 4 cuts through the area in the middle, the A 61 runs not far to the west and the Kerpen motorway junction is located . The state road L 163 runs to the east. The Erft flows through the area .
meaning
Since 1956, an area of 192.1 ha has been designated as a nature reserve for Kerpen under the identification number BM-004. The protection is placed for the preservation and restoration of communities and biotopes of certain wild animal and plant species.
