Novak Martinović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Новак Мартиновић ; born January 31, 1985 in Belgrade , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football player .

Career

Novak Martinović began his career in 2005 with OFK Belgrade in the Prva liga Srbije i Crne Gore , the highest league in Serbia and Montenegro . Since he did not get the chance in his first year, he was loaned to FK BSK Borča , which played in the Serbian second division . After his return in 2007 he was used again only rarely and in the second half of 2007/08 was loaned to the league rivals FK Smederevo .

In the winter break of 2008/09 Martinović moved to Pandurii Târgu Jiu in Romania in Liga 1 . There he developed into a regular player in the 2009/10 season. In the summer of 2010 he moved to league rivals Steaua Bucharest . There he could not prevail, but won his first title with the 2011 cup . In the winter break of 2012/13 he left Steaua and moved to Wuhan Zall in the Chinese Super League . After only six months he returned to FK Red Star Belgrade in his Serbian homeland. There he only made six appearances in the 2013/14 season and was then no longer considered. At the end of the season he won the Serbian championship with his team.
