Nozomi Sasaki

Nozomi Sasaki ( Japanese 佐 々 木 希 , Sasaki Nozomi ; born February 8, 1988 in Akita , Akita Prefecture ) is a Japanese model , actress and singer .

Outside of Japan, she became known as a commentator on the K-1 World Max kickboxing event .

biography

Sasaki started modeling at the age of 14. She got nationwide acquaintance with appearances in the gravure sections Galcon Japan of the manga magazine Weekly Young Jump , whose Grand Prix she won for the first time in 2005, and on March 9, 2006 (issue 15/2006) as a centerfold , although she also regularly later occurred in it. In August of the same year she won the Grand Prix of the fashion magazine Pinky out of 4,290 applicants .

On January 1st, 2008 her first photo book Nozomi was published , on September 25th her first DVD Weekly Young Jump Premium DVD - nozomi and in November of the same year she had her first film role in Handsome Suit ( ハ ン サ ム ★ ス ー ツ , Hansamu Sūtsu ).

From January 13th to March 10th, 2009 she had her first drama television series appearance in the film adaptation of the manga Kami no Shizuku .

In March 2009, she was the face for the reading campaign Zasshi Aidoku Gekkan ( 雑誌愛読月間 , "one month of fun on the magazine reading") of the Education, Cultural Affairs and Science Ministry belonging Nihon Zasshi Kyokai ( 日本雑誌協会 selected "Japanese magazine association"). During the campaign, which ran from July 21 to August 20, her face appeared in 300 magazines, 30,000 posters in bookstores and public libraries, 100,000 posters in metropolitan Tokyo and Kansai , and on 2009 prepaid book gift cards.

On April 1st, her second DVD Dolly was released , as well as two other photo books ( Sasaki Nozomi in "Tenshi no Koi" and Non ). The latter was created for the love film Tenshi no Koi , which was also well received by critics , where she plays a 17-year-old girl who falls in love with a 35-year-old professor ( Shōsuke Tanihara ).

On March 19, 2010, she published her photo book with Asami Kiyokawa called Prism . On July 21st she released her first single Kamu to Funyan feat. Astro at Sony Music Entertainment. This reached number 11 in the Oricon charts and stayed there for 8 weeks. In addition, she had from July 16 to September 17 of the same year (shortly after midnight and thus on the previous television day ) she had her first leading role in a dorama ( Dohyō Girl! ). Her second single Jin Jin Jingle Bell feat. Pentaphonic , a cover of a song by Chisato Moritaka , and peaked at number 29 on the charts.

In the same month she was selected by her home prefecture together with Natsuki Katō as "[PR] ambassador for the beauty of Akita" ( あ き た 美 の 国 大使 ).

For the anime series Beelzebub , she sang the fourth final title Papepipu ♪ Papipepu ♪ Papepipupo ♪ , which was released on October 26, 2011 as her third single. This reached number 37 in the charts. In addition, her sixth photo book Non ♡ non was published on December 1st . Her third film Afro Tanaka is planned for 2012 .

She is also Fila's new advertising face. On April 18, 2012, her first album, Nozomi Collection, was released .
