course

The Nozza rises at about 1240  m slm above Alone between the Corna di Sonclino in the north and the Monte Dossone in the south in the municipality of Casto . It initially flows to the northeast through a densely wooded and impassable Kerbtal , where it is still sometimes called Trecento . It passes the Pos de l'Acqua waterfall before reaching the Alone fraction, high above the river .

He picks up the Merlo from the right and shortly thereafter also the Pizzotto from the right . The Nozza now passes the village of Casto, where the Vrenda flows into it from the left . The river flows past the Malpaga fraction and immediately forms the municipal boundary between Mura on the left and Casto on the right bank. It takes its most important tributary, the Tovere , from the left , before running completely into the municipality of Vestone .

The Nozza now flows around the northern foothills of Monte Poffe and finally flows into the Chiese in the Nozza fraction at about 305  m slm from the right.
