The Nuolja ( North Sami Njullá ) is a mountain near Abisko in the northwest of the Swedish province of Norrbotten County and the historical province of Lapland . At the foot of the mountain is the lake Torneträsk and the European route 10 .
There is a ski slope with a chair lift on the mountain . A fatal accident occurred there in 2004 when an armchair slipped down on the rope and collided with the armchair behind it, causing it to fall to the ground. One person was killed in the accident.
