Nybergsund IL-Trysil is a Norwegian football club from Tettsted Nybergsund . The team played four seasons in the country's second-highest division .
history
The club, founded on March 17, 1918, played for a long time in the lower league area, with the team having established itself in the third-highest division since the late 1980s. 2007 ushered in one of the club's most successful times when the team reached the quarter-finals in the national cup - the first time in over 30 years that a third division team had come this far. Although the team failed there with a 6-1 defeat at FK Haugesund , at the end of the season they rose to the second division for the first time.
In the Adeccoligaen Nybergsund IL-Trysil placed in the first few years in the middle of the table, the best placement came in the first season of 2008 as eighth of the table. In the 2011 season , the team won only six of the 30 season games and occupied a relegation place together with Asker Fotball , Randaberg IL and Løv-Ham Fotball . In the third division, the team with middle table places missed the promotion.
