The Nyegyi Kansang is a mountain in Assam Himalaya on the border between the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh and Tibet Autonomous Region .
The glaciated mountain has a height of 7047 m (according to other information 6983 m or 7050 m ). It is located on the McMahon Line in the main Himalayan ridge in an area disputed between India and China. The Kangto ( 7090 m ) is located 15.43 km west-southwest. The Nyegi Kangsang is one of the highest mountains in Arunachal Pradesh. The Kameng , one of the most important rivers in Arunachal Pradesh, is fed by the Nyegi Kangsang Glacier , which extends on the eastern flank of the Nyegi Kangsang. The northern flank of the mountain is drained via the Subansiri .
On October 23, 1995, five members of an Indian expedition led by MP Yadav managed to climb Nyegi Kangsang for the first time over the northeast ridge.
