Oštarije is a place in central Croatia between Ogulin and Josipdol in Karlovac County , where there is an important railroad crossing. Here the Lika Railway to Knin and Split separates from the Zagreb – Rijeka railway line . The settlement has 1407 inhabitants (as of 2001).
There is a junction to the Autocesta A1 right next to the village .
