The O'Neal Point is a headland at the Danco Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the east side of the Arctowski Peninsula , it lies between the entrances from Wilhelmina Bay to Beaupré Cove and Piccard Cove .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 2001 after James D. O'Neal (1926-2008), cartographer in the department for special maps at the United States Geological Survey , who was a scientific observer on the 11th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1956-1957) in area of South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic peninsula had participated.
