The Obelja Glacier ( Bulgarian ледник Обеля lednik Obelja ) is a 7.5 km long and 2.5 km wide glacier in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . On the east side of the southern part of the Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains, it flows south of the Remington Glacier in a south-easterly direction along the southwest flank of the Johnson Spur and east of Mount Benson and flows into the Thomas Glacier .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the town of Obelja , which is now a district of the Bulgarian capital Sofia .
