The Remimgton Glacier is an 11 km long and steep glacier in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the southeastern part of the Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains, it flows immediately north of McPherson Peak in an east-southeast direction and ends between the foothills of the Hough Glacier and the Johnson Spur .
It was discovered during a reconnaissance flight of the United States Navy's VX-6 squadron to create aerial photographs between December 14 and 15, 1959. These aerial photographs were used for mapping by the United States Geological Survey . The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1961 after the American glaciologist Edward Wade Remington (1920-2007), who worked in 1957 at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station .
