Oberbergen is a district of the municipality of Penzing in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .

The parish village is about two kilometers northeast of Penzing.

Oberbergen is one of the oldest development settlements in the Landsberg district. It was founded in the 8th century.

The formerly independent municipality was incorporated into Penzing as part of the municipal reform in 1971.
