Oberbesslingen ( Luxembourgish Beesslek , French Hautbellain ) is a village in the municipality of Ulflingen , Canton Clervaux in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg .

Oberbesslingen is located in the north of Luxembourg near the border with Belgium . Neighboring towns in the west and north are the two Belgian towns of Lomerslaer (Limerlé) and Watermal , in the east Huldingen and in the south Niederbesslingen .

General

Oberbesslingen is a small, rural street village. The neo-Gothic church of St. Cornelius forms the center of the village . Since 1895 the place has had a train station on the Luxembourg – Spa railway line, which opened in 1867 .
