The Obernzenner See is an approximately 14 hectare man-made lake in the Obernzenn market in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Central Franconia .

The lake is located on the western edge of Obernzenn. It is traversed by the Zenn , which emerges again below the dam. The Mölbenbächl and the Eisenbach as well as some springs on the lake bed also drain into the lake.

The Obernzenner See was created between 1978 and 1981 as part of land consolidation as a flood retention. A dam was built in the northeast, on the other sides it is limited by the natural topography.

In addition to its actual purpose, the lake is used for swimming and as a leisure facility. On the 34 hectare site there are opportunities for sailing, surfing and fishing, among other things. There is a water slide, playground, table tennis facility, volleyball field and a beach café. There is a campsite a little south.
