Vicente Alexandre de Tovar (born April 1, 1744 in Salvador , Bahia , Brazil , † October 8, 1808 ) was a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic prelate of Goiás .

Life

Vicente Alexandre de Tovar received on 13 June 1767, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 20, 1803 appointed him Pope Pius VII. To titular bishop of Titiopolis and prelates of Goiás. The Apostolic Nuncio in Portugal , Archbishop Lorenzo Caleppi , donated him episcopal ordination on August 28 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Macau , Marcelino José da Silva , and the bishop of Angola and Congo , Joaquim Maria Mascarenhas Castello Branco .
