Manuel de Brito Filho (born January 31, 1983 in Vera Cruz , Bahia , Brazil ), better known as Obina , is a Brazilian football player .

His career began with little success at Club EC Vitória . Then he went to Fluminense da Bahia to get some more match practice. In 2004 he returned to Vitória and finally scored a lot of goals. After a short detour to Al-Ittihad, he went to Flamengo Rio de Janeiro in 2005 . In 2010 he was under contract with Atlético Mineiro . At the beginning of 2011, Obina moved to Shandong Luneng Taishan in China . There he remained under contract until 2013, but played as a loan player in Brazil since July 2012 at Palmeiras São Paulo and EC Bahia . This was followed by a one-year detour to the Brazilian Série B 2014 to América Mineiro . At the beginning of 2015 Obina dared a new attempt in Asia, this time with the Japanese first division promoted Matsumoto Yamaga FC .
