Obo is a city in the Central African Republic and has 7187 inhabitants (2003). It is the capital of the Haut-Mbomou prefecture in the far east of the country.

In 2011 an army contingent from Uganda was stationed in Obo. The contingent was directed against the advance of the Lord's Resistance Army .
