Haute-Mbomou ( German  Obermbomou ) is a prefecture of the Central African Republic with the capital Obo .

geography

The prefecture is located in the east of the country and is bordered by the Haute-Kotto Prefecture in the northwest , Mbomou Prefecture in the southwest , South Sudan in the east and the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the south .
