Basse-Kotto ( German  Niederkotto ) is a prefecture of the Central African Republic with the capital Mobaye .

geography

The prefecture is located in the south of the country and is bordered by Ouaka Prefecture to the northwest and west , Haute-Kotto Prefecture to the northeast , the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the south and Mbomou Prefecture to the east .
