Obuchowo (German formerly Obuchshöfchen ) is a village in Gmina Morąg in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in Poland. It is located a few kilometers west of the town of Morąg (Mohrungen).

history

Obuchshöfchen was first mentioned as a good in 1720. It was founded by the city treasurer Matthias Obuch , who was also an organ builder. The leasehold was in the town of Mohrungen in the East Prussian Oberland and had 9 hooves.

In 1826 or soon afterwards, a shooting range for the Mohrunger Schützengilde was set up in the Oberwald. This still exists today with an associated club.
