Career

society

The 1.74 large offensive player Colo belonged to the U-18 department selection of Colonia at least in 2012 and won the OFI championship in this age group under coach Carlos Rodríguez that year . At the club level he was playing for Club Atlético Juventud de Colonia at the time . It was there that he began his career. In the Copa Nacional de Clubes, he finished second on the scorers list with 17 goals and was named the best player of the competition. In 2011 he worked for Plaza Colonia in the Quinta División.

Then the Colo, represented by the player consultancy company Basesoccer, moved to Club Atlético Peñarol in December 2012 , where he was initially intended for the team in the Cuarta División . Previously, the Argentinian club Boca Juniors and Colo Colo from Chile had also expressed interest in signing Colo . He completed trial training sessions with both teams.

Under coach Pablo Bengoechea , he was promoted from the junior team to the first team in preparation for the 2015 Clausura . and was henceforth in the squad of the first division team. His club finished second in the Uruguayan championship that season. However, due to injuries and the commitment of Jonathan Urretaviscayas , he did not get beyond the role of supplementary player. He booked no appearances in competitive games of the professionals and was ultimately only part of the team in the Tercera División. In August 2015, he was loaned to the newly promoted Villa Teresa within the league , the loan initially being for a period of six months. He made his debut in the Primera División in the Apertura on August 22, 2015 in the 3-2 home defeat against Montevideo Wanderers , when he was substituted on by coach Vito Beato in the 71st minute for Diego Martiñones . In the 2015/16 season, which ended with immediate relegation for the club, he played 16 first division matches and scored one goal. After briefly returning to Peñarol, another loan station followed in mid-July 2016. This time the receiving club was the Racing Club de Montevideo . There he played in only one first division game (no goal) in the 2016 season and returned to Peñarol in early January 2017. At the end of January 2017 he was loaned to Plaza Colonia and subsequently played seven top division games (no goal). From mid-July 2017, there was another loan to Villa Teresa.

National team

In a preselection made by Fabián Coito's coaching staff for the players who might be nominated for the Uruguayan U-22 squad at the 2015 Pan-American Games in Toronto , he was also taken into account, as was the preliminary squad announced on May 19, 2015. In the end, however, he was not nominated for the Games.
