Odenwald-Quelle GmbH & Co. KG is a regional beverage company based in Heppenheim in the Bergstrasse district in Hesse and Mineralquellen in Heppenheim and Oberzent - Finkenbach in the Odenwald .

history
The company was founded by Hans Strauch in 1931 and remained in family hands until 2000. That year, the company was taken over by Actris AG in Mannheim, owned by SAP co-founder Dietmar Hopp . At the turn of the year 2009/2010, the Odenwald-Quelle was sold as part of a management buy-out to the former sales director Ronald Schork and the Mannheim lawyer Andreas Schmidt, former partner of the Rittershaus law firm . Since January 1, 2014, Andreas Schmidt has been the sole managing partner of the traditional Heppenheim company Odenwald-Quelle. Ronald Schork has retired from business life for private reasons.
Sales and products
The company is the market leader in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region . The extended sales area of the Odenwald-Quelle is within a radius of 100 kilometers from Heppenheim. The core area is given as a radius of around 50 kilometers from the company headquarters.
The company fills around 90 million fillings (equivalent to around 77 million liters) in both glass and PET bottles each year.
