The Ofenhorn ( 3235  m above sea level ) - in Italian Punta d'Arbola - is a mountain in the Monte Leone-Sankt Gotthard Alps , part of the Lepontine Alps on the border of the canton of Valais , Switzerland and the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola , Italy .

In the south it is bounded by the Val Formazza . The northeast side is characterized by the Ghiacciaio del Sabbione (Hohsand Glacier), whose meltwater is dammed in the Lage del Sabbione ( 2463  m slm ) and drains off over the Rio del Sabbione. The CAI huts , Rifugio Somma Lombardo ( 2568  m slm ), Rifugio Móres ( 2504  m slm ) and Rifugio Città di Busto ( 2482  m slm ), as well as the private huts Rifugio Claudio e Bruno ( 2708  m ) are located on the reservoir and in its surroundings slm ) and Rifugio 3A ( 2922  m slm ). On the Swiss side, southwest of the summit, is the SAC- owned Binntalhütte ( 2265  m above sea level ) and to the west is the private Mittlebärghütte ( 2395  m above sea level ).
