The Ohlebach (also: Traisaer Bach ) is a right tributary of the Modau , which flows through Traisa and Nieder-Ramstadt in the Hessian district of Darmstadt-Dieburg .

Geography and course

The Ohlebach runs in the Vorderen Odenwald and in the Bergstrasse-Odenwald Nature Park . Its source is on the northeastern edge of Traisa on the Dippelshof estate . Immediately behind the source, the brook touches the ponds on the Traisa golf course. Then it flows through the "Ohlebachtal" and crosses the so-called "bird pond". South of the pond, the Ohlebach flows through meadows and crosses under the Odenwaldbahn . The stream then flows along the Odenwaldstraße in a south-easterly direction and passes under it shortly before the mouth. The Ohlebach flows into the Modau from the right and northwest .
