The Alberta Highway 9 is located in the Canadian province of Alberta , he has km in length 325th The highway begins east of Calgary on Highway 1 and ends at the Saskatchewan border , where it continues as Saskatchewan Highway 7 . As a core route, the route is part of the National Highway System .

Routing

The route begins on Highway 1 north of Langdon . The route initially leads north. In Beiseker there is a junction where Highway 72 begins to the west , Highway 9 leads from there in an easterly direction. Approx. Highway 21 intersects 20 km east of Beiseker . Shortly before Drumheller the highway heads north again, in Drumheller coming from the south meets Highway 10 and Highway 56 , which come from Rosedale . The following 22 km run together with Highway 56 until it branches off to the north. At this intersection, Highway 27 begins , which leads west, Highway 9 leads again east from there.
