The Saskatchewan Highway 7 is located in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan , it has a length of 262 km. The highway is the continuation of Alberta Highway 9 , it begins west of Alsask on the provincial border and leads to Saskatoon . As a core route, the route is part of the National Highway System .
Routing
The highway begins on the provincial border with Alberta and heads east through the prairie . Approx. 1 km east of the border branches off Highway 44 , which also leads east, but is located south. Highway 21 crosses in Kindersley and crosses almost the entire province in a north-south direction. From Fiske the route heads northeast towards Saskatoon. Before the city limits, Highway 7 joins Highway 14 , which leads from the west to Saskatoon, there is a joint route to the end of both highways on Highway 16 , the Yellowhead Highway , in the west of Saskatoon.
expansion
The eastern section between Delisle and Saskatoon is to be expanded to four lanes by autumn 2018.
