The Saskatchewan Highway 6 (SK 6) is located in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan . The highway begins in the south of the province on the border with Montana and runs north over a length of 522 km. The section between Highway 39 and Highway 11 is part of the National Highway System and serves as the core route.

The highway begins on the Montana border at Regway , where it continues as Montana State Highway 22 . The route travels north through the Saskatchewan prairie . Highway 39 joins the route after 115 km, coming from the south-east , from this section of the route Highway 6 belongs to the CanAm Highway . The route continues north to Regina . There the Transcanada Highway crosses in the south of the city , which comes from Moose Jaw in the west . 8 km run together with Highway 1 until it branches off again east to Winnipeg . Highway 6 goes around the center of the city and then continues north again.

The route crosses the Qu'Appelle River and continues through the steppe landscape to Melfort . To the north it crosses the Saskatchewan River and ends on Highway 55 .
