The Highway 6 (short- AB 6 ) in the Canadian province of Alberta will begin on the border with Montana in the United States and ends on Highway 3 , the Crowsnest Highway in Pincher Creek . It has a length of 48 km.

Routing

The highway begins on the United States-Canada border as a continuation of Montana State Route 17 . This part of the highway is in Waterton Lakes National Park . There is a fee to stay in the park. The route heads northwest on the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains . At Maskinonge Lake, the route meets Highway 5 coming from Lethbridge ; Both highways have a common route for the next kilometer. Highway 5 then branches off to the southwest, Highway 6 follows north. Passing the small town of Pincher Creek, the route meets the Crowsnest Highway, which it joins.
