Ojców is a village in the urban-and-rural municipality (Gmina) Skała in the powiat Krakowski in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in southern Poland . The place previously had the status of a state-recognized health resort.
The village is one of the stops on the Szlak Orlich Gniazd long-distance hiking trail ( Eagle's Nest Trail ) along the Eagle's Nest castles because the ruins of the Gothic Ojców Castle are located there. The Ojców National Park Administration (Ojcowski Park Narodowy) , the smallest of Poland's 23 national parks , is also based in the village .
