Olaf Becker (born January 11, 1959 in Kiel ) is a former German volleyball player .

Olaf Becker first played in his home country at Suchsdorfer SV and SW Elmschenhagen . In 1980 he moved to SC Fortuna Bonn , with whom he was promoted to the Bundesliga and in 1987 won the DVV Cup . Then Olaf Becker went to league competitor Bayer Leverkusen for two years , where he won the German Cup in 1988 and German champion in 1989 . After three more years at Fortuna Bonn, Olaf Becker followed his long-time player -coach Lee Hee-wan to Bayer Wuppertal in 1992 . Here he was again German volleyball champion in 1994 and won the DVV Cup in 1995. As an assistant coach, he won the German championship again in 1997 with the Wuppertal team. In the following years Olaf Becker was the player-coach of Wuppertal's second team in the second division . In 2002/03 he had another comeback in the Bundesliga team.

Olaf Becker has been a German national player 60 times . Today he is volleyball specialist in the German Police Sports Board .
