Olaf Kaltenborn

Olaf Kaltenborn (born February 8, 1965 in Mannheim ) is a German publicist and journalist .

Life

From 1990 Kaltenborn studied journalism at the University of Dortmund and completed an internship at the Berliner Zeitung . After working as a research assistant from 1997 to 2000 he was at the University of Essen in the subject Political Science to Dr. phil. PhD. From 1997 to 2003 he wrote for the Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Neue Zürcher Zeitung , after which he worked as a regional correspondent for the ddp news agency .

In 2001, Kaltenborn and Holger Elfes founded the popular science magazine Transfermagazin - Wissenschaft im Ruhrgebiet, and together with him was its editor-in-chief until 2005 . From 2001 he was a consultant for press and public relations at the University of Witten / Herdecke , from 2003 head of the communication department and member of the extended university management. Since 2006 he has been Head of Marketing and Communication at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and spokesman for the university.
