Olaf Klodt

Olaf Klodt (born December 26, 1965 in Westerland on Sylt ) is a German architecture and art historian and journalist .

Life

Klodt studied art history at the University of Hamburg with Fritz Jacobs (art historian) and Horst Bredekamp . In 1992 he completed his studies with a master's thesis on the plans for the new building of St. Peter's Church under Pope Julius II and Bramante . He has published several times on this topic.

Since 2000, Klodt has been working as a freelance journalist and online editor for various print and online media. From 2007 to 2009, Klodt was also the overall manager of all online activities for the Hamburger Jahr Top Special Verlag . In 2009 Klodt founded the online portal TauchJournal.de.
