The Old Park River is a river in the northwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
The river has its source on the southern slopes of St. Valentines Peak , about 11 km southeast of the Hellyer Gorge . From there it flows north around St. Valentines Peak through the Old Park Forest Reserve and flows into the Emu River at Kara North Prospect , about 6 km northeast of the Companion Reservoir .
