Oldendorf (Appel)

Oldendorf belongs to the municipality of Appel in the Harburg district in Lower Saxony ( Germany ).

Geographical location

The place is north of the federal highway 1 between the exit Hollenstedt and Rade . Oldendorf is also on the famous chain of fish ponds from Appel to Appelbeck. In terms of nature, Oldendorf is located on the southeast edge of the Apenser Lehmgeest at the transition to the Black Mountains .

Agribusiness

In Oldendorf arable farming and cattle breeding (mainly pigs ) is practiced.

The long- distance cycle route Hamburg – Bremen leads from Ohlenbüttel through Oldendorf to Appel .
