Ole Ernst

Ole Ernst (born May 16, 1940 in Copenhagen , † September 1, 2013 in Copenhagen, actually Ole Ernst Pedersen ) was a Danish actor .

Career

Ernst completed his acting training from 1964 to 1967 in Odense . He made his stage debut in 1965 as Chino in a production of the West Side Story . From 1970 to 1986 and again since 1994 he was a member of the Royal Theater in Copenhagen.

In 1967 Ernst made his film debut (sinners everywhere) , in 1973 he made his breakthrough in Flugten . This film had two sequels ( Per and Blind makker ). From 1974 he played the young and ambitious detective Holm in eight Olsen Gang films . The dialogues with Axel Strøbye as Commissioner Jensen on the question of whether or not it is worth investigating crimes became legendary .
