Ole Jørgen Bruvoll (born April 7, 1995 ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Bruvoll, who starts for the Lierne Il, made his first international appearance at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2013 in Predeal . There he won the bronze medal in the mixed relay and over 10 km freestyle and the silver medal over 7.5 km classic. In February 2014 he ran his first races in the Scandinavian Cup in Meråker , which he finished in 69th place in the sprint and 44th place over 15 km freestyle. The following year he won the bronze medal with the relay at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Almaty and also took 12th place in the skiathlon . In the 2017/18 season, with four top ten placements, he achieved 14th place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup. At the U23 World Championships in Goms in 2018 , he won the bronze medal in the skiathlon and was also fifth in the 15 km classic. In the 2018/19 season he was again in the top ten four times in the Scandinavian Cup. He achieved his first podium in the Scandinavian Cup at the mini tour in Madona , which he finished in eighth place, with third place in the pursuit race and 13th place in the overall standings at the end of the season. After finishing second over 15 km in the classic FIS race in Gålå at the beginning of the 2019/20 season, he took part in the cross-country skiing world cup in Lillehammer for the first time in December 2019 . He got his first World Cup points with 19th place in the skiathlon.
