Ole Lemmeke (born January 10, 1959 in Frederiksberg ) is a Danish actor .

Life

Ole Lemmeke grew up in Nykøbing Sjælland , where his parents ran a nursing home. During his time as a conscientious objector, he was already at the Posthus Teatret . He then began to study theology that he later dropped out in favor of an acting training. He successfully completed this in 1984 at the Statens Teaterskole . He then became a permanent member of the ensemble at the Rialto Teatret and has since worked at other theaters such as Det Ny Teater , Det Kongelige Teater and Betty Nansen Teatret . His greatest success in 2013 was the award for Best Actor with the renowned Reumert Theater Prize .

With his first leading role in a film, that of Jonni in the love drama Himmel og helvede directed by Morten Arnfred , Lemmeke was awarded a Robert for Best Actor in 1988 . For his portrayal of Holger Mikkelsen in the war film The Enemy Inside , directed by Morten Henriksen , Lemmeke was awarded both a Bodil for Best Actor and a Robert as Best Actor in 1992 .

In addition to his work as an actor, Lemmeke also speaks audio books and was a lecturer in acting at Den Danske Filmskole .
