Ole Lynge

Ole Lynge (born March 12, 1955 ) is a Greenlandic politician ( Inuit Ataqatigiit ).

The trained shipbuilder sat on the municipal council of the municipality of Aasiaat from 1989 to 2001 . In 1990 he replaced Jens Geisler in Inatsisartut, who had resigned because of sexual offenses . In 1991 he was officially elected to parliament for the first time. From 1995 to 1999 he was not a member of parliament, but then again from 1999 to 2002, where he was President of Parliament from 1999 to 2000.

On December 8th, 2015 he received the Nersornaat in gold.

Ole Lynge is the younger brother of Aqqaluk Lynge (* 1947), a son of Jens Hans Lynge (1916–?) And his wife Benedigte Mølgård (1917–?). His grandfather was Frederik Lynge (1889–1957).
