Hans Lynge (politician)

Jens Hans Lynge (also Hans J. Lynge ; born August 29, 1916 in Aasiaat ; † 1986 ) was a Greenland state councilor .

Hans was the second of seven children born to the politician, writer and teacher Frederik Lynge (1889–1957) and his wife Louise Magdalene Maria "Mâliánguaĸ" Fly (1895–1973).

Hans Lynge was a telegraph operator and radio assistant in Aasiaat. In 1959 he was elected to the National Council. In 1963 he was re-elected.

On April 18, 1938, he married Benedigte Mølgaard (1917–?). The following children were born from the marriage:

  • Miina Lynge, married. Hansen (born July 26, 1943)
  • Karla Lynge, married. Christensen (* around 1945)
  • Aqqaluk Lynge (born October 12, 1947 in Aasiaat)
  • Janna Lynge, married Holm (born December 12, 1952)
  • Elisa Lynge (born December 27, 1953)
  • Ole Lynge (born March 12, 1955)
  • Johannes Lynge (born December 8, 1957)
