Ole Petter Pollen (born September 16, 1966 in Rygge ) is a former Norwegian sailor .
successes
Ole Petter Pollen took in the boat class Flying Dutchman at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul and 1992 in Barcelona part. In 1988 he won the silver medal with Erik Bjørkum when they finished second with 37.4 points behind the Danes Christian Grønborg and Jørgen Bojsen-Møller and ahead of Frank McLaughlin and John Millen from Canada. Four years later he finished seventh with Knut Frostad . At the 1985 World Championships in Tønsberg, he won the title in the Europe boat class. In 1989 he won bronze in the Flying Dutchman with Erik Bjørkum in Alassio .
