Olena Chlopotnova

Olena Chlopotnowa ( Ukrainian Олена Хлопотнова , Eng. Transcription Olena Khlopotnova , also Russian Елена Хлопотнова - Jelena Chlopotnowa - Yelena Khlopotnova , born Stezura - Stetsura , in his first marriage Kokonowa - Kokonova ; * 4. August 1963 ) is a former Ukrainian long jumper .

Starting for the Soviet Union , she won bronze at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Madrid in 1986 , silver at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow in 1990 and bronze at the Universiade in 1991. After the collapse of the Soviet Union , it started for Ukraine.

A fourth place at the World Athletics Championships in 1993 in Stuttgart was followed by an eleventh place at the 1995 World Championships in Gothenburg and an eighth place at the 1997 World Indoor Athletics Championships in Paris.

In 1984 and 1985 she was the Soviet champion outdoors, 1986 and 1990 indoors. Ukrainian championship titles followed in 1992, 1995 and 1998.
