Flashpoint (original title: Chinese 導火線 / 导火线 , Pinyin Dǎohuǒxiàn , Jyutping Dou 6 fo 2 sin 3 - "fuse, fuse," or: 導火綫 ) is a Chinese film directed by Wilson Yip from the year 2007 . The main roles are Donnie Yen as Detective Jun Ma, Louis Koo as Wilson and Collin Chou as Tony.

Hong Kong 1997: The Hong Kong police have been trying for some time to put an end to the three Vietnamese brothers Archer - the tyrant, Tiger - the fighter - and Tony - a cool calculator - but so far unsuccessfully. The best man in the police is the precise and quick detective inspector Jun Ma, from the OCTB department, the Serious Crime Unit, but his brutal methods are not undisputed and occasionally bring him a transfer to the police chapel. But colleague June Wilson, who was smuggled undercover with the criminals, is the trump card. But when his cover is blown, he is seriously injured by the gangsters and from now on is unable to walk. Archer can still be arrested and should finally get his well-deserved sentence with the testimony of Wilson and other witnesses. But his brothers counteract this and start a series of attacks on the witnesses. Only Wilson narrowly escapes the attempted murder, but his pregnant friend Julie is injured. The gangsters who are still after Wilson and Julie don't give up that easily, while Ma tries desperately to protect them.
