Taurus Awards 2008
The Taurus World Stunt Awards 2008 were the seventh award of the Taurus World Stunt Awards , an American award for film stunts, which again since 2003. on 17 May 2008 Backlot of Paramount Pictures took place, the New York Street set.
Award
Due to the writers' strike between November 2007 and February 2008, the award ceremony turned out to be smaller than in previous years. For this reason, the Taurus Lifetime Achievement Award for an Action Movie Star, the Taurus Lifetime Achievement Award and the Action Movie Star of the Year were not presented for the first time.

As in the previous three years, the awards were presented in nine categories, in which a total of 31 different films were nominated. The film Die Hard 4.0 was nominated the most with six nominations. With two awards, Das Bourne Ultimatum received the most Taurus Awards. In contrast to the previous three years, no German action series was named the best foreign production for the first time .
