Taurus Awards 2011
The Taurus Awards 2011 were the tenth presentation of the Taurus Award , an American award for film stunts, which took place on May 14, 2011 again as since 2003 at Paramount Pictures .
Award
More than 800 stunt people took part in the event. The film production company Inception emerged from the award ceremony as the biggest winner . The Taurus Lifetime Achievement Award was given to stuntman Loren Janes , who has been involved in the production of over 500 feature films and 2200 television shows for more than 50 years.

As has been customary since 2003, the awards were presented in nine categories, in which a total of 22 different films - as few as there have been since the Taurus Awards 2003 - were nominated. The film The Somewhat Different Cops was nominated the most with six nominations. With two awards each, Inception and Predators received the most Taurus Awards. As in the previous year, the German action series Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei was recognized as the best foreign production, which was the fourth time that it received the award in the category of best stunt in a foreign film .
The following films from the previous year were nominated in 2011 and received the Taurus Award.
