As in previous years, the awards were presented in nine categories in which a total of 23 different films were nominated. The films Mile 22 (4 nominations), Black Panther (4 nominations) and Aquaman (4 nominations) were nominated most frequently, but the latter two only managed to win an award in one category. Mile 22 even came out completely empty. Mission: Impossible - Fallout and Deadpool 2 received the most Taurus Awards with two awards each .
