Taurus Awards 2012
The Taurus Awards 2012 were the eleventh presentation of the Taurus Award , an American award for film stunts, which took place on May 12, 2012, again like since 2003, at Paramount Pictures .
Award
More than 900 stunt people took part in the event. The film production Fast & Furious Five emerged as the biggest winner from the award ceremony, which was nominated in four categories and received awards in as many categories. The Taurus Lifetime Achievement Award was given to stuntman Glenn Wilder .

As usual since 2003, the awards were presented in nine categories in which a total of 26 different films were nominated. The film Fast & Furious Five was nominated the most with eight nominations. With four awards, he also won most of the Taurus Awards. As in the previous year, the German action series Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei was recognized as the best foreign production, which was the fifth time that it received the award in the category of best stunt in a foreign film .
